Mini- and micro-launchers: call for expressions of interest
In its bid to host mini- and micro-launchers at Europe’s spaceport, CNES is initiating its first call for expressions of interest.
The launcher family expands at Europe’s spaceport
CNES launched its first call for applications to exhaustively gather expressions of interest from European operators and thus shortlist an initial group of mini- and micro-launcher operators.
Located far from Kourou and Sinnamary, the former Diamant site has been selected to host the mini- and micro-launchers of tomorrow. Its facilities will comprise common resources (access road, power supply, etc.) that can be used for several launchers, as well as resources specific to each launcher (launch platform, assembly building, etc.).
