CNES and PLD Space Join Forces for a New Launch Pad
CNES and Spanish company PLD Space have signed an agreement to develop a new launch complex at the Guiana Space Centre (CSG). This partnership marks a significant milestone in the integration of European microlaunchers in Kourou.
CNES is partnering with PLD Space to create a new launch pad dedicated to microlaunchers at the CSG. This initiative aligns with Europe’s strategy to diversify access to space and will enable PLD Space to operate its suborbital launcher MIURA 1, and eventually the orbital launcher MIURA 5.
